"El MercoBlues es una idea que al mismo tiempo cruzaba por la cabeza de Virginia Martínez en el Río de la plata y de Iván Torres en Santiago de Chile. Mágicamente se concretó cual conejo que salió del sombrero cuando Virginia e Iván hicieron dos shows juntos en Santiago el 20 y 21 de junio de 2008. En esa ocasión compartieron escenarios en la primera fiesta de integración de músicos de blues Uruguayos y Chilenos…"
